NEW JOB!!

I got a new job!! Teaching Spanish at a public school! I could not be any more excited or happy about this! Yey!

Things are finally starting to look up. The school is about a 45 minute drive from the house, but the hours are great and the salary is decent.

The school called me this morning and scheduled an interview for this afternoon. I was very excited and didn't hesitate. They were looking for a new Spanish teacher because the one they had working there unfortunatly had a family emergancy and ended up moving back to Madrid. The school had already promised the parents Spanish classes for the students, so they needed to find a replacement.

I don't mean to brag, but the director liked me so much he hired me on the spot. I will be teaching Spanish in Elementry school grades 3rd and 4th. (there are only three groups per grade so it's not too bad.)

I start next week. This allows me to have the rest of the week to study up on the material and prepare lesson plans for my students.

 

I am so excited!! Gerard seemed to proud to hear that I finally found a job. My parents even sounded excited for me.

Things are starting to look up. Tomorrow I have to go to the publishing house and look over some details about my newest book and then I'll have the rest of the day free to work on lesson plans.

I hope this job continues to work out as a dream!!
